Operation 1964

Project Strafe is a vertical shooter similar to the old arcade game Strikers 1945, specifically designed for mobile. My role within the team was to help design and implement many different areas of the game, from the scrolling background to the pickups. I also helped redesign some of the art for the game, namely the pickups and their iconology.

The game currently has two different levels with an infinite game loop where the enemies progressively get harder. The player is tasked with fending off waves of enemies while collecting pick-ups to improve their Spitfire. The game also features 4 unique enemy designs each with 3 variants and a bonus gold variant which offers more points and a higher chance of pickup.
